Met Museum Costume Institute in your own home? Now it’s entirely possible, thanks to the miracle of the internet! Metropolitan Museum archived all of its costume collection (and, may we remind you, it consists of royal dresses from XVII-th Century as well as masterpieces by Chanel, Balenciaga and dresses that Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis wore. Normally you can only see them sometimes, during special exhibitions. Now – you’ve got them all, just one click away, absolutely free! We have checked – database is very detailed and you can browse it all,  from antique shoe buckles and buttons, through XIX-th century pair of leggins (who knew?) up until the most sophisticated dresses from the XIX-th Century up to Vivienne Westwood’s productions.

And now, if you’ll excuse us, we’ve gotta go back to browsing the clothes. As should you.
